Adam Linz   - acoustic bass

Adam Linz has been a native to Minnesota since the 7th grade.After first
hearing his uncle play bass at the Artist Quarter he knew what he would be
doing from that day forward. Studies led him to prestigious William Paterson
University of New Jersey. Being only 15 miles from New York he was there
nighty for five years. This led to gigs with notables such as Stanly
Turrentine, Milt Jackson, and The Mingus Big Band.
Upon graduation Adam moved back to Minnesota to continue playing with his
childhood friends JT Bates and Mike Lewis. The last five years have been
tremendously fruitfull.They include a residency at the Clown Lounge, a bar
in the midway of St Paul, co-leading the explosive trio Fat Kid Wednesdays,
and several releases on labels such as Merck, Ninja Tune, Nato, Roaratorio,
and Innova.
